Terms & Conditions

  1. The Warranty for the Ecom 030+ Air Purifier is as follows –
  2. The Warranty period is twelve (12) months from the date of delivery from Ecom Singapore Pte Ltd (“Ecom Singapore”).
  3. If the air purifier is defective in materials during the applicable warranty period, Ecom Singapore will repair or replace such defective parts of the air purifier free of charge provided that the air purifier has been properly used according to the operating instructions.  Whether the defective part will be repaired or replaced will rest solely in Ecom Singapore’s discretion.
  4. The warranty shall not apply to all parts or materials used for the replacement of defective parts of the air purifier pursuant to this Warranty.
  5. The Warranty does not cover the following costs –
  • Labour and transport. Transport cost for each trip range from S$30 – S$50. Labour cost is variable to the condition of the unit. 
  • Replacement of filters
  1. The Warranty shall become void under the following situations
  • Tempering, alteration, modification, misuse or change in the air purifier in terms of design or function or set being dropped; or
  • Usage of any part in the air purifier other than genuine Ecom parts; or
  • Air purifier broken or damaged due to negligence or sub-optimal care
  • Evidence of water damage or reason to believe that the air purifier has been damaged by water
  • Damage during replacement of air filter
  • Defects or damage due to misuse or abuse, whether accidental or intentional, improper maintenance, use after a partial failure, use with electrical supply of improper voltage or frequency; or
  • Damages resulting from accident, flood, fire, acts of God or other events beyond Ecom Singapore’s control; or
  • Serial number of the air purifier being removed or defaced; or
  • Defects or damage due to failure to follow Ecom Singapore’s instruction as regard the application, use, service or maintenance, or to failure to comply with local codes, standards, ordinances or industry specifications; or
  • Units placed at highly corrosive environment.
  1. The Warranty also does not cover the following –
  • Electric bulbs, fuses, internal and external finishing
  • Filters of the air purifier
  • Air purifier exported out of Singapore
  1. This Warranty shall be final.  Any warranty certificate with different information shall be rendered null and void.
  2. Ecom Singapore will always have full authority to decide if a buyer qualifies for warranty or not.

THE WARRANTY PROVIDED IN THIS ECOM SINGAPORE WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER FOR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR OTHERWISE IS HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. 

In no event shall Ecom Singapore be liable for special or consequential damages arising from the purchase, possession or use of the air purifier sold by Ecom Singapore.

  1. Recommended filter replacement:
  • Primary filter – varied mileage depend on usage; can be washed and re-used; recommended replacement every 2 – 4 weeks
  • ClO2 filter – 3 months: filter change as indicated on screen marked “ClO2 Change”
  • HEPA filter – 1 year: filter change as indicated on screen marked “HEPA Change”
